Motivated to brush
I’ve been using a certain brand of toothbrush for a long period.
I’ve changed the brand recently as my old toothbrush seems to go out of form very fast.
I ain’t too sure if it was my incorrect brushing method or it was due to poor quality of the toothbrush.
So I went ahead and chose a 3 in a pack toothbrushes from another brand.

Habits
I randomly set myself a habit to write short posts during my bus journey home from work.
Purpose is to pen down my thoughts and to see how it is to form a habit.
I realize I can keep it going for only 10 days without breaking this writing habit.

Christmas Eve
Wet and cold day.
Day 12.
Rain
Lots of rain today.
Enjoyed a sweet cup of tea at Kopitiam.
Really enjoyable on such wet day.
Did my book project.
Productive.
So blessed to be kept dry and cool on such rainy weather.
Day 11.
Exceptional service
I enjoyed exceptional service when buying a bag.
He was always smiling, willingly did the extra service like cleaning the metal parts of the bag.
Passionate about serving.
Attending to your needs.
I left being a really happy customer.
Day 10.
Flying to space.
The world’s transforming rapidly.
Some would be left behind, some would be chasing endlessly to keep up with the pace.
It shows good progress of human civilization but what do you observe about values?
Basic humanity like being responsible, being respectful, showing care towards anyone….
So what if we can fly to space now but are our virtues at the similar level?
Day 9.
Teaching business
Many people have the perception that the education industry is highly profitable.
It is when you put in the hard work for 3 years and more.
It isn’t a quick profit business.
You’re wrong if you were to think the same way.
Getting started is easy, ensuring extraordinary growth requires skills.
It’s a rare gem for a great trainer to be able to market themselves...
Aspiration
A young man at the age of 16 wants to be a pilot.
Said without hesitation.
It was already possible for him and it’s all that matters.
Many still don’t know what they want in life.
It’s a very hard question.
My aspiration is to serve, to help and at the same time, to achieve freedom.

Communication
I was irritated by how the sales promoter communicated.
I just want to stop listening and walk away.
I came to another section, only to have history repeated itself by another sales promoter. This time a girl.
I realize the importance of communication & presentation in creating impression & providing an extraordinary service.
Day 6.
Almost Distraction-free
Bought a Pure double chocolate ice blended, regular size.
Sat down for 4.5 hours.
Productivity.
Amazed myself.
Day 5.
It's one big round

The long line of buses
I was greeted with a line of buses.
Was there an accident in front?
Was there an event?
Were those chartered buses?
We walked further more. No accident, no event and not chartered buses.
Oh!
I remembered my sis sent me a message on train disruption.
That was the reason.
We changed our route.
We walked more to see people waiting for cabs, many more people waiting at the bus...
Underground tunnel
I saw the underground tunnel as the train ran through it.
It was amazing just like in movie.
I remembered the first time I saw statue of Liberty. It was memorable and exciting.
I remembered the road from JFK airport to YMCA New York, the road sight was just like movie.

I thought my namecards design will go well. Only to realize that the colors are totally off.
They suggested a CMKY format?
I don’t get it right. Why does Photoshop get so complicated?
Can’t we be any simpler?

Hot and Hotter Weather
Last 2 days, the weather was hot and getting hotter.
I seldom sweat but I was sweating profusely when I was talking to my students’ parents, when I was just watching the TV, when I was sleeping … All of these while the fan is switched on.
As a result of the heat, I can even take a cold shower early in the morning at 7am and late night at 11pm.

Instructions to make pizza dough
Water up to the bottom of handle of cup
1 tablespoon of sugar
2 caps of yeast
1 bowl of flour
Mix evenly
Sticky structure (~one-quarter of metal cup)
Wait and observe for 15 mins
Pour mixture into big bowl
